AIRONDEX — Multichain Swap Guide

AIRONDEX is a non-custodial decentralized exchange (DEX) with smart routing, MEV-aware handling, Auto-Slippage, and seamless multichain support.

Note: Your wallet must be connected to the same chain where the swap will execute.

Prerequisites

  • An EVM wallet (e.g., MetaMask or compatible).

  • Native gas token on the selected chain (BNB / ETH / BASE / ARB, or the respective testnet coin).

  • (Optional) The token’s smart contract address if you want to trade an unlisted token.

Accessing the Swap

  1. Open https://airondex.com/swap.

  2. Connect your wallet (click Connect if not connected).

Choosing Chain & Tokens

  1. Click Select token in the From or To field.

  2. Pick the Chain inside the token selector (BNB, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, or a supported testnet).

  3. Match your wallet network to the selected chain (switch networks in your wallet if needed).

Tip: The chain badge in the UI shows where the swap will execute. Always align wallet network and selected chain.

Trading a Token That’s Not Listed

  1. Copy the token’s smart contract address.

  2. In Select token, use “Search or paste address” and paste the contract.

  3. Confirm the token → add it → select it as From/To.

Security reminder: Verify contract addresses from official sources to avoid counterfeit tokens.

Configuring Slippage & Transaction Preferences

Click the ⚙️ Settings icon to open preferences:

  • Slippage Mode

    • Auto-Slippage (recommended for taxed/dynamic tokens): AIRONDEX auto-adjusts tolerance.

    • Manual: You set Slippage Tolerance (e.g., 0.5%–3% for typical tokens; higher for taxed/volatile tokens).

  • Slippage Tolerance Ensures your swap won’t execute beyond the allowed price deviation.

  • Tx Deadline Time limit (in minutes) before a pending swap becomes invalid.

  • Tx Speed (GWEI) Choose Slow / Normal / Fast. Fast increases the chance of quick confirmation in busy periods.

Click Confirm to apply settings.

Executing a Swap

  1. Enter the amount in the From field.

  2. Confirm the To token is correct.

  3. If the From token is a new ERC-20, you may need to Approve it first (one-time per token).

  4. Click Swap → review the route/price summary → Confirm in your wallet.

  5. Wait for on-chain confirmation; status updates in real time on the UI.

Tip: Auto-Slippage helps reduce failures from overly strict tolerance, especially for taxed/volatile tokens.

Testnet Mode

Practice safely without real funds using Testnet Mode:

  • BNB Testnet, Ethereum Sepolia, Base Sepolia, Arbitrum Sepolia, Airon Testnet

  • Obtain testnet faucet tokens for gas.

  • Switch your wallet network to the desired testnet and follow the same swap steps.

Best Practices

  • Always check the network (UI chain badge vs wallet network).

  • Verify token contracts via official channels.

  • Use Auto-Slippage for taxed/volatile assets.

  • Keep a small gas buffer after every swap.

Troubleshooting

  • “INSUFFICIENT_OUTPUT_AMOUNT” / slippage errors Increase Slippage Tolerance or enable Auto-Slippage and retry.

  • Transaction pending too long Increase Tx Speed (GWEI) to Fast, or retry when the network is less congested.

  • Imported token not appearing Confirm the contract address and selected chain are correct; refresh token list if needed.

  • Wrong network Switch your wallet network to match the chain selected in the token picker.

  • Approve failed Ensure you have sufficient gas balance; retry with a higher GWEI.

AIRONDEX is non-custodial—you control your keys and funds. Never sign transactions you don’t understand, and double-check token contracts before trading.
