Add Liquidity

Add Liquidity — AIRONDEX

Provide tokens to a pool and receive LP tokens representing your share. LP tokens accrue a portion of swap fees and can be redeemed later by removing liquidity.

Supported Networks

Mainnets: BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum Testnets: BNB Testnet, Ethereum Sepolia, Base Sepolia, Arbitrum Sepolia, Airon Testnet

Note: Your wallet network must match the chain where you add liquidity.

Prerequisites

  • EVM wallet (e.g., MetaMask or compatible).

  • Sufficient balances of Token A, Token B, and the native gas token (BNB/ETH/BASE/ARB or the respective testnet coin).

  • (Optional) Contract addresses for custom tokens you plan to supply.

Accessing the Liquidity Page

  1. Connect your wallet if it isn’t connected.

Selecting Tokens & Network

  1. In the Token A and Token B selectors, choose the assets you want to supply.

  2. Pick the chain (BNB, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, or any supported testnet) inside the token selector if available.

  3. Ensure your wallet is switched to the same chain.

Tip: You can paste a token’s contract address in the token search field to add assets not shown in the default list.

Amounts, Quotes, and Pool Ratios

  • Enter the amount for Token A or Token B. The other side auto-quotes based on the current pool price.

  • The UI shows an estimate of how many LP tokens you’ll receive and your pool share after adding liquidity.

  • If the pool is new or very small, initial liquidity may set the price—review carefully.

First-Time Approvals (ERC-20)

Before the contract can move your tokens:

  • Click Approve for each ERC-20 you’re depositing (one-time per token & per chain).

  • Confirm the approval in your wallet.

  • After approvals succeed, the Add Liquidity (or Preview & Confirm) button becomes available.

Settings (⚙️)

Click the Settings icon to configure:

  • Slippage Mode

    • Auto-Slippage (recommended for taxed/dynamic tokens): AIRONDEX adjusts tolerance automatically.

    • Manual: Set Slippage Tolerance (e.g., 0.5%–1% typical; higher for volatile/taxed tokens).

  • Tx Deadline Cancels the transaction if it isn’t mined within the specified minutes.

  • Tx Speed (GWEI) Choose Slow / Normal / Fast. Fast helps during network congestion.

  • MEV Protection (where supported) AIRONDEX applies MEV-aware handling to help reduce toxic order flow on compatible networks.

Click Confirm to apply settings.

Preview & Confirm

  1. Click Preview to review: token amounts, minimum received (if shown), price impact, and estimated LP tokens.

  2. If everything looks good, click Confirm and sign the transaction in your wallet.

  3. The UI displays real-time on-chain status until confirmation.

After Confirmation

  • You’ll receive LP tokens in your wallet.

  • Your position appears in the Positions/Your Liquidity section (per chain).

  • You can later remove liquidity to redeem your share + accumulated fees (minus price impact).

Features

  • Slippage Mode: Auto or Manual tolerance for safer execution.

  • MEV Protection: MEV-aware handling on supported networks.

  • Multichain Support: Works across BNB, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum (and testnets, including Airon Testnet).

Testnet Mode

Practice safely without real funds:

  • Switch your wallet to BNB Testnet, Ethereum Sepolia, Base Sepolia, Arbitrum Sepolia, or Airon Testnet.

  • Get faucet coins for gas.

  • Follow the same steps to add liquidity.

Best Practices

  • Match networks: Wallet chain must match the selected chain in the UI.

  • Double-check contracts: Verify custom token addresses from official sources.

  • Leave gas headroom: Keep a buffer of the native coin for future actions (e.g., removing liquidity).

  • Mind price impact: Large deposits on shallow pools can shift price—consider splitting into smaller adds.

Troubleshooting

  • “Approval Required” keeps showing Ensure the previous approval tx confirmed. If set to a very low allowance, increase allowance or approve again.

  • Slippage / “INSUFFICIENT_AMOUNT” errors Increase Slippage Tolerance or enable Auto-Slippage; retry with Fast gas if the network is busy.

  • Wrong network Switch your wallet to the same chain selected in the token picker.

  • Token not found Paste the contract address directly in the token selector; confirm the chain is correct.

  • Balance or decimals mismatch Refresh balances after a recent swap/transfer; ensure token decimals are detected correctly (use the verified contract).
